  • Kelly Clarkson Opens Up About Her Weight-Loss Journey

Kelly Clarkson is opening a new chapter in life — one marked by physical transformation, renewed mental health, and a deep commitment to personal happiness.

The Grammy-winning superstar, 43, recently wowed fans during a powerful performance at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where she debuted her new single “Where Have You Been” and lit up the stage with her trademark vocals and honesty. But it wasn’t just her voice that had people talking — it was also her confidence and visibly transformed appearance.

Clarkson has openly shared her journey with weight loss, which she credits in part to using prescription medication under the guidance of her doctor. But behind the physical changes was something deeper: a desire to reclaim her joy — and it all started with a move across the country.

“I was very unhappy in L.A. and had been for several years. I needed a fresh start,” Clarkson told People earlier this year. “We told NBC, ‘I’m not trying to sound ungrateful, I just can’t stay here anymore for my mental health; for me and my kids.’”

The move to New York wasn’t just about geography — it was about healing. Clarkson admitted that she had spent years simply going through the motions, struggling with burnout and trying to protect her kids during a difficult time in her personal life.

“For the past few years, I’d just been showing up and smiling and doing what I’m supposed to do,” she said. “But you can only compartmentalize so long until you break.”

Now, as she embraces her new life in New York, Clarkson says she finally feels aligned — both mentally and physically. “Knowing my kids feel good—and the dust has settled. Season five is my first season to actually enjoy every minute of it.”

At her Atlantic City concert, she reflected on her transformation with humor and heart. When a fan called her “sexy” during the show, Clarkson playfully accepted the compliment, referencing her hard work and her belief that beauty — especially when earned through effort and growth — should be celebrated.

“They also say you’re not allowed to say someone looks attractive, and I say f— that,” she told the crowd. “Because some of those bitches are out here working, and we’re trying, and I want every motherf—er that passes me to go, ‘Damn. Well done.’”

Whether she’s on stage or on screen, Clarkson continues to inspire fans with her unfiltered honesty, resilience, and dedication to self-care. Her journey proves that transformation isn’t just about the number on a scale — it’s about finding the strength to start over and finally feel at home in your own life.

  • Citroen Could Revive the Third Car for Loeb/Breen Winning Couple

We woke reasonably late following the feast and free flowing wine the night before. After gathering ourselves and our packs, we headed down to our homestay family’s small dining room for breakfast.

Refreshingly, what was expected of her was the same thing that was expected of Lara Stone: to take a beautiful picture.

We were making our way to the Rila Mountains, where we were visiting the Rila Monastery where we enjoyed scrambled eggs, toast, mekitsi, local jam and peppermint tea.

We wandered the site with other tourists

Yet strangely the place did not seem crowded. I’m not sure if it was the sheer size of the place, or whether the masses congregated in one area and didn’t venture far from the main church, but I didn’t feel overwhelmed by tourists in the monastery.

Headed over Lions Bridge and made our way to the Sofia Synagogue, then sheltered in the Central Market Hall until the recurrent (but short-lived) mid-afternoon rain passed.

Feeling refreshed after an espresso, we walked a short distance to the small but welcoming Banya Bashi Mosque, then descended into the ancient Serdica complex.

We were exhausted after a long day of travel, so we headed back to the hotel and crashed.

I had low expectations about Sofia as a city, but after the walking tour I absolutely loved the place. This was an easy city to navigate, and it was a beautiful city – despite its ugly, staunch and stolid communist-built surrounds. Sofia has a very average facade as you enter the city, but once you lose yourself in the old town area, everything changes.

Clothes can transform your mood and confidence. Fashion moves so quickly that, unless you have a strong point of view, you can lose integrity. I like to be real. I don’t like things to be staged or fussy. I think I’d go mad if I didn’t have a place to escape to. You have to stay true to your heritage, that’s what your brand is about.
